Ballads of Hyrule Piano Reflections
"Fi's Farewell," "Outset Island," and "Hateno Village"
I was brought onto this project to help propel the project to the finish line. I started with “Fi’s Farewell” where I focused on translating the metallic sounds as well as some percussive elements later in the piece.
It was really fun to work within the confines of Rozen’s arrangement and focus on textural translation above everything else.
I also ended up scoring the album’s release trailer, using only sounds from the piano and including a few Zelda themes - if you can spot them.
